Locally a community leader in regional arts development for the opportunities afforded to performers. It is open to competitors of all ages, from under six to over 60 years, with the focus on primary and secondary school students with the aim to create role models for the future. There is an emphasis on youth participation and cultural inclusiveness. The Eisteddfod objectives are to promote development and excellence in the performing arts, provide a forum for constructive competition, and to provide accredited adjudicator advice to enhance performance.
